Navigating federal policy changes can be challenging, especially in today’s political climate. While MTCPA remains firmly bipartisan, we recognize the concerns many of you have raised and are working behind the scenes to advocate for the profession.
The AICPA continues to push for proper IRS funding to ensure the agency can effectively serve taxpayers and maintain system integrity. At the state level, MTCPA is actively engaging with Montana’s congressional delegation, emphasizing the need for public trust in government systems. While our influence on national issues is limited, we remain committed to advocating where we can make a difference. We value your input—if you have thoughts on these challenges, let us know.
