Annual Conference Planning Task Force
This is a team of members helping organize and plan the MTCPA Annual Conference for each June. They handle everything from selecting speakers and topics, helping to find sponsors and exhibitors, and assisting on-site at the Conference.

This committee selects recipients for various awards, recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions within MTCPA, ensuring that excellence in the accounting profession is celebrated and acknowledged.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors serves as the leadership for the Society. Guided by our Strategic Plan, board members discuss issues facing the profession and help ensure the Society continues to make an impact into the future. Members serve a three year term, where they attend quarterly meetings to provide staff with advice and direction.

This team addresses ethical issues, provides guidance on ethical practices, and ensures members adhere to the profession’s code of conduct, fostering trust and accountability within the MTCPA.

This group provides insights, guidance, and updates on federal tax laws, regulations, and policies, helping members stay informed and compliant with the latest tax developments.

Financial Literacy Task Force
For 2024 the Financial Literacy Committee is reforming to tackle a specific ask from the Montana Department of Agriculture. The group will create a presentation resource for CPAs to use to teach small ag related businesses the basics of accounting and bookkeeping.
