Allen Lloyd is the Executive Director of the Montana Society of CPAs, where he works everyday to inspire, empower, and impact MSCPA members to achieve professional excellence. Prior to joining MSCPA, Allen worked at the Ohio Society of CPAs in a variety of roles and as a firm administrator for a local firm in Ohio. He is not a CPA, but he has been working with CPAs for over 10 years and does everything he can to promote and protect the profession.

Allen grew up in a small town on the Ohio river where he rode his bike all summer, something he is happy to do again in Helena. He is married to a CPA and has two boys who like to be outside on the trails.

Chantel Schieffer, owner of True North Leadership, has spent 30 years strengthening communities, teams, and cultures across private industry, government, and nonprofits. A Montana native, she holds a B.A. in Political Science from Montana State University and leadership certifications from Harvard, Yale, UC Berkeley, and Brené Brown Research & Education Group. Recognized for her impact, she’s received the ATHENA® Leadership Award, Alpha Omicron Pi Woman of Leadership Award, and Leadership Montana’s Tom Scott Award. Based in Helena, she and her family embrace adventure, often exploring Montana’s great outdoors.

Jim Lindell, CPA CSP CGMA MBA is the President of Thorsten Consulting Group, Inc., specializing in strategic and financial consulting, executive coaching, and professional training. With a background as CFO, CIO, and Controller for companies across industries, he has led 50+ M&A projects and serves as a Vistage Chairman for two CEO groups in Wisconsin. A CPA with an MBA in Finance, Jim is a faculty member of the AICPA and one of fewer than 10 CPAs to earn the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. An award-winning instructor and author of multiple financial leadership books, he is recognized for his expertise in strategic planning, business turnarounds, and executive development.

Tommy Stephens, Jr., CPA.CITP, CGMA is a CPA and technology expert with over 30 years of experience in auditing, finance, and consulting. A graduate of Auburn University (B.S. Accounting) and Georgia State University (M.S. Finance), he has held leadership roles in public accounting, internal audit, cost accounting, and as a CFO. Since 1995, Tommy has delivered over 2,700 educational sessions to 70,000+ professionals on topics including internal controls, technology strategies, tax compliance, and financial accounting. A partner at K2 Enterprises, he continues to educate and advise accounting and finance professionals. Based in Woodstock, Georgia, he enjoys skiing, fishing, and outdoor activities.
