Raising the BAR Niche Group
Raising the BAR (BAR Group) is a niche group of accounting professionals aged 35 and younger who are striving to create more opportunities for up-and-coming CPAs. Their outreach includes: participating in the yearly Accounting Opportunities Experience to help guide high school students interested in accounting, planning classes that address the needs of young professionals, and help create social events that will appeal to our younger members.
Niche groups like this are like brain trusts for a specific segment of our demographics, designed to make sure MTCPA is on point with the issues within a specific area of the profession. The ideas generated by these groups will be assigned to committees/task forces/strike forces.
