Anytime FAQs
Our Anytime Subscription runs from February 1st to January 31st of the following year, and begins when you purchase your subscription. Costs are not pro-rated.
Those who purchase an individual self-study course have up to 90 days after the date of purchase to complete the course and take the exam.
To access Anytime, login to your MTCPA portal account and click 'Anytime' under My CPE.
Note: if you go directly to site URL (https://anytime.montana.cpa), instead of accessing through your MTCPA portal, you may have issues with your password. You will need to click “forgot password” to reset.
You can buy an individual self-study course at any time and watch it in Anytime, or you can purchase unlimited access to Anytime and select from more than 100 courses in A&A, tax, ethics, and technology from the date of purchase through January 31st. Individual courses expire in 90 days from purchase.
Your access to Anytime begins within an hour of the purchase of your subscription and ends on January 31 of the calendar year following your purchase.
Note: You may need to wait up to 24 hours for your Anytime subscription to populate in your account.
Once on the Anytime site, navigate to the course you are interested in, then click “enroll” in the top right corner. Once enrolled, you can begin viewing immediately or go to My Courses to watch later.
You can continue watching any of your courses through the My Courses page available through the menu in the top left corner.

Yes, you may take as many individual courses as well as purchase an unlimited subscription to Anytime at a slightly higher rate.
You will have unlimited access to all Society self-study courses that are included in Anytime and can be viewed on the Society’s course search. You will also be able to access any new self-study courses that are added during your subscription.
Those who purchase an individual self-study course have up to 90 days after the date of purchase to complete the course and take the exam.
Those with unlimited Anytime access have full access to all courses until January 31st of the following year.
Certificates of completion are available in the menu in the top left corner.
You can check your listing of completed courses in your CPE History.
When logging in, the best way is to navigate to your MTCPA portal and sign in using your website credentials. You can then click the Watch Now button found on the self-study course page or within My Account. You will be automatically redirected and logged in to the appropriate location within Anytime.
If you go directly to URL and click Sign In you can use your email address as your user name and on first login, you will need to follow the “Forgot your password?”, validate your email address, and then create a new password.
All Anytime courses are NASBA-approved, making them accepted for CPE credit in all states.
The course video will remain available for the duration of your Anytime subscription. For single-course purchases, the video will remain available for the 90-day period of purchase. If a course become out-of-date, it may be taken down. If you are enrolled in a course that is scheduled to be taken down, you will have 90-days to complete the course.
Yes, Anytime courses qualify as interactive individual/self-study. NASBA registry approved individual study courses qualify under this standard.
Yes. In order to activate the final exam questions, you must first complete the review questions that appear during the course video. Once the course video is complete, you will be able to take the final exam.
There is no need to retake the review questions. You have two attempts to correctly answer the review question. After that point, the correct answer is provided immediately with a brief explanation of the answer.
You can take the exam as many times as you need within your valid subscription period or within 90 days of the single-course purchase to earn a passing grade of 70%.

Individual course registrations – If you are dissatisfied with a course that you have registered for, let us know prior to completing the final exam and we will provide you a full credit to register for any of our other course offerings. We cannot offer refunds or credit for courses where you have received CPE credit.
Unlimited access – Unlimited access to Anytime requires an annual commitment. If you are dissatisfied with the service, you may cancel within the first 30 days for a full refund. In the event you have earned CPE credit in the first 30 days, you will be charged $25 per CPE credit earned and this will be subtracted from your refund amount. No refunds will be provided for mid-year cancellations requested more than 30 days after purchase.
This is a known issue in Anytime. While we work to fix this, the workaround is to search for the course you want to complete in the ‘Search content in the platform’ box at the top of the page and access the course by clicking on the search result.
